Since our opening in spring 2015, we’ve put a lot of energy into creating an original menu and are delighted to have received such glowing reviews. When we decided to open an upscale food truck, we knew that focusing our menu on upscale oyster dishes may have a limited audience. But we were optimistic, and up for the challenge.
One of the things that people have most enjoyed about our food truck are the inventive range of menu items. Not everyone is prepared to dive right into a plate of freshly-shucked oysters, so we’ve really worked on developing menu items that provide a unique take on some our favourite popular: like pastas, soups, sandwiches, and fresh salads. Many guests are also on the active and on the move, so it’s important that we offer a selection of heartier meals, and an environment where guests can casually dine in an outdoor setting (or take-out) without sacrificing quality and freshness.
Through the winter season we will be taking some new concepts to the drawing board and we’re excited about introducing some new menu items for 2016. Please check back soon for updates, and be sure to stop by our location in Ucluelet next time you are visiting Vancouver Island.
